Michael Jackson’s Movie Gets Help from the Past
Nov 20, 2009 Michael Jackson, Movies
Michael Jackson fans might be upset when they find out that the much hyped ‘This is It’ film, documenting the late singer’s final tour rehearsals, seems to have gotten a bit of help from the past. According to new reports, music experts are saying that some of the sound bytes on the movie are actually from years before. Former BBC senior studio manager Andrew Rose claims “Throughout the film sudden changes in vocal timbre suggest the dropping in of older recordings which may have required significant digital manipulation to fit the new live backing.” The shocking part in all this is that officials at Sony Pictures admit to altering the film. It’s not like it’s going to hurt them now as the film has already grossed over $200 million.
Leona Lewis Has a Stalker
May 7, 2009 Leona Lewis, Singers
Having a stalker seems to be the creepiest thing to be in these days as Leona Lewis has acquired a stalker of her own, causing the British songstress to flee her new Los Angeles home. According to reports, the singer went out to run some errands when she noticed that she was followed home by a strange man. When she got home, she looked out her window to find the man still there and staring at her. Instead of calling the police, Leona left the mansion she’d been living in for just 6 days to go be with her boyfriend in England. A source says “She’s had new electronic gates put in and CCTV installed which links directly to the local police, station. Hopefully that’ll put her mind at ease slightly. She’s also asked Simon Cowell if he can find Lou [her boyfriend who works for a label under Sony] a placement over in the US.”
