DMX Gets Six Months
Mar 19, 2010 DMX
DMX has been sentenced to six months behind bars for violating the terms of his probation. Although some reports claim that ‘Celebrity Rehab’ doctor Dr. Drew presented the judge with a letter requesting that the rapper be moved to his care, and the judge seemed receptive, it is unclear whether or not he’ll be battling his cocaine addiction for the world’s viewing pleasure. According to a Maricopa County Sheriff “He admitted to using cocaine, so he’s back in our jail. I think it’s about time to give him hard time. We do have a great drug prevention program in the jail, so if he stays in our jail system I will consider (letting) him go through our program.”

DMX Wanted on Celebrity Rehab
DMX was arrested last week for using illegal drugs and violating the terms of his probation, so like any fame seeker, the rapper used it as an excuse to reach out to Dr. Drew and try to land himself on the next season of ‘Celebrity Rehab’. Ask, and you shall receive. The reps from t reality show have contacted DMX and are considering sending someone to his next court hearing to speak with the judge about being placed in their care instead of going back to jail. I think he should just head to jail. Make him really pay for all of the wrong things he’s done.

DMX tried to fix his fight
Nov 9, 2009 DMX
It seems that the rapper has had a taste for some celebrity death match lately. DMX was supposed to fight the CEO of Power Moves Entertainment, Eric Martinez, and he wanted to fix the fight but the event’s promoter refused. This is how DMX’s contract for the fight was written: “Event Promoter and Management agree that (DMX) is scheduled to win Boxing Challenge… All parties agree this event has been scheduled to occur only in fun and that the artist involved is not a professional boxer.” After all that vacation time in the slammer DMX has not become a professional boxer? Or at least a semi-pro? Tisk, tisk, tisk, what an embarrassing way to let everybody find that out.

DMX has incident at charity
Oct 20, 2009 DMX, Hip Hop, Kanye West
The rapper was asked to perform at a charity event in Colorado Springs recently. Apparently, he was 90 minutes late and when he arrived the guards refused to let him it. DMX, being the wise and noble man that he is, eventually picked a fight with them and the charity participants rooted for him. Moreover, DMX actually won and did get in, but wasn’t able to dazzle anyone with his musical abilities since all of the equipment was turned off, so he was simply asked to leave. Man, this dude must be trying to get around to be as famous as Kanye West for these incidents! He definitely started out right, all he has to do now is crash the MTV Europe Music Awards and he’s in business. Kanye West might have actually started a new trend with this crashing of events.

DMX is Free
DMX was released from the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona last week. I’m quite surprised that I haven’t learned of any arrests of him for anything yet. And that’s a big emphasis on the “yet”. The legally challenged rapper was released from his second home early in the morning after serving just 90 days in jail. That’s the minimum sentence for pleading guilty to the following: cruelty to animals, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of marijuana. Who wants to take a bet against me that he will find himself back in jail a couple more times before the year ends?
DMX Ordered to Pay Up
As if being stuck in jail isn’t bad enough, rapper DMX has gotten more bad news. He has just been ordered to pay nearly a quarter of a million dollars to a man he assaulted at JFK airport. 5 years ago, Port Authority officers arrested the rapper for posing as an FBI agent and using a fake police siren to pull Sergei Priporin and his family over at the airport. DMX, who claims that he pulled them over for making him late for a flight, was in possession of crack, Oxycodone, Diazepam and a billy club at the time. The plaintiffs, who originally sued for $4 million each, are getting a total of $240,000 in damages. DMX isn’t letting go of his pride though as he spoke through his lawyer saying “Mr. Simmons still feels justified in pulling them over when they didn’t get out of his way… he’s not apologizing for that. He still believes the gentleman driving should have gotten out of his way. At the same time, he plead guilty to the charges and therefore paid for his behavior.”
More Trouble for DMX
Jan 9, 2009 DMX

DMX is in trouble once again but the good news is that he’s not in trouble with the law. The bad news though is that his personal life is in the crapper. The former hit maker’s home is currently in foreclosure, up for sale and in shambles. That’s ok though considering that he doesn’t need the place since he’s going to be calling jail home for a good while. I doubt that he’s going to get money off of it though considering that he owes a lot anyway. Who would want to buy his house anyway? Unless you’re desperate, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Discount DMX
Nov 5, 2008 DMX
You know those bargain bins that offer discounts because the packages have already been opened? Would you ever think that you’d see a celebrity digging for duds there? That’s were DMX was caught doing so this past weekend. Some shocked sources at the going out of business sale at the Lakewood, California Mervyns say that they saw the serially arrested rapper loading up on tube socks and gangsta tanks from the 79 cent pre-opened package rack. Why is he shopping discount? I know he has some money. He got paid for actually performing at an event on Friday on the Queen Mary. Maybe he’s saving cash to pay for legal fees.
