35-year old Florida native Cemelia Green was arrested outside of Diddy’s East Hampton home a week ago after the crazy woman claimed to be the rapper’s wife. The woman, who reportedly had a history of mental illness, camped out in her car for a couple of days before embarking upon the music mogul’s residence. The police promptly arrested her at the scene and threw her into Suffolk County jail for trespassing and criminal mischief. Diddy’s stalker is being held on $5000 bail but I don’t really think anyone will be coughing up the money to bust her out. I almost want to feel sorry for her.

This past weekend, Diddy threw his eldest son Justin Dior Combs a star studded and expensive birthday bash to celebrate turning 16. At the end of the party, the music mogul surprised Justin with the keys to a $360,000 car. No, that’s not a typo. The 16-year old kid is now a proud owner of a Maybach sports car. All in all, Justin got a whole bunch of celebrities, an MTV film crew – his birthday was being filmed for the network’s series ‘My Super Sweet 16’ –and a car for his birthday. Let’s hope that he’s a really good driver or that car’s going to be a pretty expensive piece of trash.

It must be really cool to have a mega-rap star as a father. This is probably how Justin, Diddy’s son, feels after recently getting to be sixteen. As if the party he had wasn’t enough, Diddy went ahead and bought his son a Maybach sports car that cost 360 000 dollars. Just what the world needs, another sixteen-year old, barely with his learner’s permit in hand, cruising the streets in a high-speed car. Diddy really showed some kick-ass father-ship with this one. Justin probably loves his dad all the more after this recent purchase and of course everybody got to see that he got it on MTV. What more could the kid want?

At the recent BET Honor Awards the famous rapper shared with everyone the identity of his true childhood heroes. It seems that while a child Diddy had great respect and fascination with the men who handled the garbage. He said that he enjoyed watching their “synchronized art and work ethic”. So what cartoon did Diddy grow up in? Because only there did garbage men actually have a “synchronized art” while working… mainly because they were probably singing. Perhaps Diddy was at some point one of those children who gets confused about what reality and TV and which is which.

Diddy had an interview with Playboy magazine recently where he talked about his ex-girlfriend, singer/actress Jennifer Lopez. The hip hop mogul said “I met Jennifer and it was a perfect match. We definitely loved each other… We’re still cool. I’ll always cherish her. There are people who come into your life that you’ll always love and respect. She’s definitely one of them. I feel as though we changed each other’s lives.” It sounds to me like someone isn’t completely over the failed relationship. I wonder if JLo got wind of this interview and what she thinks about it. Moreover, I wonder what her hubby Marc Anthony thinks.

Diddy wants to be adopted

You would think that at his age and social status it wouldn’t be necessary, but Diddy seems to think so. Moreover, he doesn’t want to be adopted by just anybody, Diddy wants to be adopted by none other than Barrack Obama. This is what the rapper said on the matter: “I ain’t going to lie – if God said I could pick one person to be my father, I’d want to be Sean Combs Obama. That’s how dope he is. I hope he reads this interview and adopts me. I wouldn’t even have to be in the will. I got my own money!” Oh that will thing is just a big bluff! Diddy is clearly in this for the money… he has to be, otherwise how is he going to convince everyone he’s not a seriously imbalanced individual?

Jay-Z rented a mansion in the Dominican Republic resort Casa de Campo for his Scarface-themed 40th birthday and with a star-studded guest list, I’m pretty sure that it was a party to remember. The rapper’s guests included Kanye West, Diddy, Oprah, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, Kate Hudson, A-rod, and MIA. All the guests showed up courtesy of two private jets to celebrate the big day where they sipped on vintage Dom Perignon and Cristal champagne. Everyone had to leave their phones at the door to ensure that no photographs would leak as well as saying a password for admittance.

Rihanna released her latest album ‘Rated R’ last week and the celebration for it was definitely a night packed with stars as celebrities attended a party to celebrate with the Barbadian babe. Guests included the likes of Jay-Z, Diddy, Fabolous and many others. But all eyes were definitely on the singer as she was looking gorgeous! As for her album, Rihanna said “This album is an expression of all those feelings that I went through in the last eight months, just different emotions. All of it isn’t angry, all of it isn’t dark and sad, ’cause I didn’t go through that the whole time. That was part of it. It was really a roller-coaster, and you get that when you’re listening to the album.”

Sean Diddy Combs among stars posting on Twitter about Jackos memorial

Celebrities took to Twitter to relive their experiences of Michael Jackson’s memorial – with some stars even tweeting from inside the event, which was held at the Staples Centre venue in LA.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs tweeted from inside the ceremony: “I’m at the memorial. RIP Michael Jackson.”
He later added: “Just left funeral. Very sad! RIP MJ!”
Mariah Carey’s husband, Nick Cannon, also wrote his tweet from inside, saying: “A day of mourning. Here in the Staples Centre, God is absolutely present.”
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian wrote: “Kourtney, Khloe, my mum and I just left the memorial. Everyone had such amazing memories of MJ. We all cried and laughed and remembered!
“Michael’s children were so brave to stand there on stage and speak to the world about their father.”
Other celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Kevin Jonas, and Kelly Osbourne wrote about being moved by the memorial as they watched it on TV. Pamela Anderson said: “I’m starting with the woman in the mirror. Bless you Michael. You made the world a better place. Rest in Peace. P x.”

Kelis Files for Divorce

Hip hop power couple Kelis and Nas are going through a divorce. The saddest part of this story is that Kelis is actually seven months pregnant. The couple met at a 2002 MTV VMA’s after party which was thrown by Diddy. They then tied the knot in 2003. Reps for Kelis have confirmed the split, stating “I can confirm that she has filed for divorce… We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.” The singer is asking for both spousal and child support from the rapper. I wonder what brought this on. They’ve been pretty quiet up until now.
Diddy Really Wants to Act
Diddy, I mean, Sean Combs is really getting into his acting career as he is set to star in a Judd Apatow-produced flick called ‘Get Him to the Greek’. It’s about a record company intern trying to get an unruly English rock star to a gig in Los Angeles. The entertainment mogul will star as the intern’s boss of course. I guess we can call it art imitating life. Diddy is so excited about his new role and he just had to share it via Twitter. He wrote “If you work hard + believe dreams do come true! Even if no one else believes! I landed a role in the new Jonah Hill, Russell Brand movie!”

Diddy could probably write a book about his romantic affairs, from all the women he’s slept with to all the ones he’s impregnated. However, the Cassie situation is one rumor that just won’t go away. The hip hop mogul is still denying the he’s dating his musical protégé even though the two have been spotted together often. Last year, they were even rumored to be getting married. Both of them deny being in a relationship with the other but that doesn’t stop them from reportedly hooking up. Insiders say that the two got together this past weekend at Diddy’s pad in Star Island, Miami. A source said “Diddy and Cassie were definitely together. They were all over each other and didn’t leave each other’s side the whole night. They were hooking up all night.”
50 Cent Gives Diddy a Compliment
50 Cent recently had an interview in the new issue of King magazine where he gave Diddy a backhanded compliment. The rapper said “Puffy has the best model for staying relevant, because [he does it] without a song. He’s been able to maintain an interest and stay in a space to executive produce television and film projects, and stay relevant to hip-hop culture. What was the last record that made you feel like, ‘Oh, my God, Puffy is on fire’? You don’t need it. That’s what makes his business model exciting to me. There are only three of us to look at: Jay, [me] and Puff. [We have] three totally different situations. We’ve just been a part of hip-hop culture. That’s the similarity. I still think they’ll be relevant. I just think they’re like the fire hydrant: You can’t move those guys out of the street. Diddy was supposed to co-host a birthday party for DJ Clue at club M2 in New York this past Monday night but when the entertainment mogul showed up with a six man entourage at 1:45AM, he balked at a mandatory pat down at the door. Diddy then texted the birthday boy, requesting entrance through the back but was told that he would get searched there too. Everyone was reportedly searched for the safety of the several stars and NBA players in attendance. Diddy threw a little temper tantrum at that and left without ever going into the club. He’s had problems with guns and the law before so it’s probably safe to assume that he had something on him that he didn’t want people to know about.

We all know Diddy loves to party but did you know that he also loves to party responsibly? For New Year’s Eve, the entertainment mogul offered free cab fare to party goers. The 39-year old musician and Ciroc premium vodka teamed up with City Taxi & Limousince Commission and E! Entertainment to distribute thousands of debit cards, valued up to $15. Diddy said of the partnership “New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve City. So let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.” I haven’t heard of any accidents, so I guess that it worked.

Diddy is a Lawyer
Diddy filmed his part playing defense attorney Derek Powell last week for an episode of CSI: Miami that will air in February 2009. Diddy told People just how he came about the role when he talked with CBS execs. He said “I don’t want to play no musician, I don’t want to play a criminal. None of those stereotypical things. I want to play a lawyer.” The entertainment mogul also said that he was thrilld to be on one of the biggest shows in the world. Diddy said “The ‘CSI: Miami’ team is like the Yankees. Me coming on the set, I’m like a Little League player with the Yankees. [David Caruso], he’s like Obi-Wan Kenobi or something! He taught me so much and let me ask questions and protected me. He’s like the coach of the team.”

Diddy’s Voting Efforts

The troubled voting state of Florida got some last minute encouragement from rappers Jay-Z and Diddy over the weekend. During a ‘Last Chance for Change’ rally on Sunday at Florida Memorial University, the duo told voters not to be discouraged by long lines at polling places. Music executive Kevin Liles also pointed out that fans have endured long lines for CDs and Jordans so why not endure long lines to vote and make a change. Hip hop mogul and singer Mary J. Blige were also in attendance showing their support to the now President-elect Barack Obama. This election has proven to be moving for young voters with record-breaking young voter registration and record-breaking early voting.

In the latest over the top video blog made by the rapper, Diddy reacts to the video clip of Katie Couric asking Palin which newspapers and magazines she reads regularly to star informed. In the clip, Diddy chatters out “Sarah Palin, you scare me. You could be the President of the United States. [Her running mate] John McCain is 72. Boys and girls, vote. I beg you. I’m not coming out the covers. It’s safer underneath the covers!” He is so funny. Though the thought of Palin possibly becoming president if McCain keels over is scary.

Did you ever think that you would hear the line “Suck it ’til your hymen pops” in a song? That’s exactly what you’ll hear in a new Diddy single. You know that it’s not going to be meant for radio but more for the streets. ‘Swagger Life Puff’ is cock rap at its best. It’s all about bragging, boasting, being the baddest you can be. Sure, that genre of rap is boring because it becomes overly repetitive but Diddy does is with a renewed sense of vigor that you just can’t help but like it. It’s almost as if he has something to prove, which we know he doesn’t. The song is both musically and lyrically exciting. I highly recommend it.
