Ciara Covers Rap-Up

Sexy singer Ciara is featured on the cover of Rap-Up magazine’s Summer 2009 issue. The 23-year old R&B star discusses the comparisons with Beyonce, rumors of dating 50 Cent and her tour mate Britney Spears. When it comes to being compared with Beyonce, she said “I know what work I put in to what I do and I know where I get my inspiration from and it’s definitely not the references that they put up on the Internet. People live for it. Negative energy travels faster than positive energy. Whoever it was, for them to dig deep down and find all those references, that’s ridiculous.” When asked about Britney, Ciara said “Everything about Britney makes you like her. I feel like she’s a star. She’s got that energy that’s just magnetic. She just glows. It’s not just one thing about her that makes her cool.”

Britney Spears a wreck prior to Circus tour

Now it’s out. After a successful opening of Britney Spears’ “Circus” tour in New Orleans sources near to the pop star are now willing to reveal how the 27-year old singer struggled with her confidence a week before the actual tour. Sources said a team of relaxation therapists had to be called to look after Britney Spears before she could even perform. Britney Spears’ mis-confidence is understandable considering this is her first major concert after her emotional and career collapse a year or so ago. She was not sure how people would react to her performance so she was freaking out about almost everything.

There was even a time that the people behind her were not even sure she could perform on the stage. Thanks to her father Jamie and a bunch of relaxation therapist, Britney Spears was able to go on stage and show the world that she is back! The stadium may not have been filled but the support of her fans helped Britney throughout the show. At least now, everyone can be sure that what is weighing heavily on Britney Spears’ mind is no longer her ex-husband Kevin Federline but her career and how to make her performance better.

Why Britney Spears Wasn’t Live

Britney Spears looked fabulous in a black winter coat with a ruffled collar for her pre-taped appearance at the Rockefeller Center for the New York Tree Light Ceremony last week. According to OK!, the 27-year old recovered singer was scheduled to perform but ended up just giving a taped message. A source said “She was originally supposed to perform live and then she wanted to pre-tape her performance instead. Then she didn’t want to do that. She keeps changing her mind and now she’s not performing at all but she is still supposed to pre-tape at 7 p.m.” I guess she wanted to reserve her energy to celebrate her birthday.
