It seems that Cheryl Cole’s former husband finally found somebody else to blame for the fact that his marriage ended. Ashley Cole apparently has a bone to pick with will.i.am because of the fact that the singer from Black Eyed Peas apparently admitted at some point that he had a thing for Cheryl Cole. A source related the following on the matter: “Will.I.Am’s comments about his wife are not news or a surprise to Ashley. He and Cheryl rowed about it last year. She’s done absolutely nothing wrong but Ashley’s sick of this man openly making advances toward his missus.” Well, though for him Cheryl Cole’s technically not his anymore… so will.i.am’s time to act, if ever, is now. Too bad he didn’t make his move when Cheryl Cole was still getting along with Ashley Cole… it would’ve been a nice addition to his music “borrowing” record.

“Let us give Caesar what is already Caesar’s!” Otherwise he’s just going to show up and take it himself. This was the case with Pink Floyd too. It looks like EMI Group has been selling their songs as downloadable even though Pink Floyd’s contracts specifically state that the content from their albums is not to be unbundled from its original context. So Pink Floyd went ahead and sued EMI for the royalties and they won approximately sixty thousand pounds. This will not bode well for EMI however since they haven’t been faring so well financially. Maybe they can get will.i.am to rip off an obscure track from somebody and turn it into a money-maker… then they wouldn’t have these kinds of lawsuit problems.

The singer from the Black Eyed Peas recently shared his views on success with all of us mere mortals. In will.i.am’s opinion, you can only be successful if you give to charity. This is what he said on the matter: “It’s one thing to make it – and you’ve got your own apartment, or house, or car – and you keep it for you. That’s not making it. Making it is spreading it.” Apparently will.i.am is a big fan of charity and thinks its important to share one’s wealth and success. Strange, no mention about all of those stolen songs for his band, but then again, if he can put a few kids through college just by stealing a bit of music, who’s to question will.i.am’s ways?

The Black Eyed Peas singer is apparently losing touch with his professional nature. It seems will.i.am was really steamed-up in the backstage of the Peoples Choice Awards that when his assistant didn’t have his drink ready immediately he hit the roof. It is a good thing for will.i.am though that he didn’t hit his assistant… after all, nobody can go too far with a broken reputation these days. But it was the assistant’s fault too, though… it can get very dehydrating to perform a show. will.i.am deserves more careful attention than just that… after all, he is a star with special star needs.

Some musicians just have a habit of ripping off other artists and I have to ask when will they ever learn? Will.I.Am surely needs to learn his lesson regarding the matter. As previously mentioned, the Black Eyed Peas front man has been accused several times of ripping off music from other artists. One of the recent accusations deals with a song by musician Adam Freeland called ‘Mancry’ which had a piece of it ending up in the BEP song ‘Party All the Time’. According to reports, Will.I.Am was at an event last year where Adam performed the song in question. Good news though as they have settled all the trouble. Adam posted a message on his Facebook saying “Just settled w/ Black eyes Peas who ripped off Mancry. If you see me in the next wk say ‘Party all the time’ I’ll buy you a beer. Woo hoop!” I guess he got paid.

Will.I.Am, Fergie and several others involved in the recording of the 2006 song ‘Voodoo Doll’ (off of the former meth addict’s solo album) are being sued by the music group Groundation. The group claims that the song “is substantially and strikingly similar” to their single ‘Each One Teach One’ which was recorded back in 2000. It’s not really surprising for someone who has been plagued by copyright scandals in the past. I just wish that the Black Eyed Peas rapper didn’t have to involve the female singer. The lawsuit is seeking for unspecified damages. They better get ready to pay up.

Michael Jackson had two albums in the works at the time of his death, Billboard magazine has reported.

The singer was collaborating on a pop album with singer-songwriters Claude Kelly and Akon, and another collection of classics.

Kelly said: “He was the King of Pop, the biggest to ever do it, and the one thing you never lose – whether known by the whole world or just 10 people – is your love for music. That never goes away and it never went away for him amidst his troubles.”

Akon (pictured) said: “My fans are still there. They still love me. They’re alive … His kids are like his first priority, and they had never seen him perform live. He was trying to create the most incredible show for his kids.”

Jackson was also working on an instrumental album, collaborating with composer David Michael Frank. “He had two demos of two pieces he’d written, but they weren’t complete,” Frank reportedly told Billboard.

“For one of them, he had a whole section of it done in his head. He had not recorded it. He hummed it to me as I sat at the keyboard in his pool house and we figured out the chords – I guess this recording I made is the only copy that exists of this music.”

Further compositions were also in the pipeline, a jazz track among them. “He mentioned more instrumental music of his he wanted to record, including one jazz piece,” said Frank, who hopes the Jackson family will decide to record the music as a “tribute and show the world the depth of his artistry”.

Meanwhile, Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am earlier this week said Jackson had recordings of new songs the pair had worked on together. “He had all the hard drives because I didn’t want to be responsible for that.”

The technology included around 44 high-definition cameras that take a real-time, three-dimensional image of a person live. Anderson started off by saying “will.i.am, I want to thank you for being with us via hologram tonight.” CNN certainly showed what news coverage will be like in the future. I bet will.i.am had lots of fun doing that. Maybe he could integrate that to a Black Eyed Peas show if they decide to do a tour for their new album. That will be cool!

It’s A New Day – Lyrics

I WENT TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT
TIRED FROM THE FIGHT
IVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR TOMORROW ALL MY LIFE
YEAH I WOKE UP THIS MORNING FEELING BRAND NEW
CAUSE THE DREAMS THAT IVE BEEN DREAMING HAS FINALLY CAME TRUE

ITS A NEW DAY (5X)

ITS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING
UP THE MOUNTAIN KEPT RUNING
SONGS OF FREEDOM KEPT HUMMING
CHANNELING HARRIET TUBMAN
KENNEDY LINCOLN AND KING
WE GOTTA MANIFEST THAT DREAM
IT FEELS LIKE IM SWIMMING UPSTREAM
IT FEELS LIKE IM STUCK IN BETWEEN
A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE WEVE BEEN THROUGH THE HEARTACHES
AND LIVED THROUGH THE DARKEST DAYS
IF YOU AND I MADE IT THIS FAR WELL THEN HEY WE CAN MAKE IT ALL THE WAY
AND THEY SAID NO WE CANT
AND WE SAID YES WE CAN
REMEMBER ITS YOU AND ME TOGETHER

I WOKE UP THIS MORNING FEELING ALRIGHT
IVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR TOMORROW ALL MY LIFE
YEAH I WOKE UP THIS MORNING FEELING BRAND NEW
CAUSE THE DREAMS THAT IVE BEEN DREAMING HAS FINALLY COME TRUE

ITS A NEW DAY (7X)

ITS BEEN A LONG TIME WAITING
WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT
ITS BEEN A LONG TIME PRAYING
PRAYING FOR THIS MOMENT
AND HOPE FOR THIS MOMENT
AND NOW THAT WE OWN IT
CLOSER IMA HOLD IT
AND I WONT LET IT GO
THIS IS FOR OUR FATHERS, OUR BROTHERS, OUR FRIENDS WHO FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM, OUR SISTERS OUR MOTHERS, WHO DIED FOR US TO BE IN THIS MOMENT
STOP AND CHERISH THIS MOMENT
STOP AND CHERISH THIS TIME
ITS BEAUTIFUL AINT IT
WE DID IT FOR HER AND HIM AND HE AND SHE AND YOU AND ME TOGETHER

YEAH I WOKE UP THIS MORNING FEELING BRAND NEW
CAUSE THE DREAMS THAT IVE BEEN DREAMING FINALLY COME TRUE
YEAH I WOKE UP THIS MORNING FEELING ALRIGHT
CAUSE WE WASNT FIGHTING FOR NOTHING
AND MALCOLM WASNT FIGHTING FOR NOTHING
AND MARTIN WASNT DREAMING FOR NOTHING
AND LINCOLN WASNT TRYING FOR NOTHING
AND CHILDREN WASNT CRYING FOR NOTHING

ITS A NEW DAY (7X)

The Spice Girls, Seal, Heidi Klum and Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas all had performances at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last month. But when the special aired on CBS Tuesday night, a performance was clearly missing.

The Spice Girls performed two songs at the show, their hit ‘Stop’ and their new single ‘Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)’. However, only their rendition of ‘Stop’ made it to the broadcast.

I think that’s unfair. Seal had more than one song that made it on the air. Although in comparison to any of the songs Seal performed, ‘Headlines’ was a big bore.
