Rap diva Lil’ Kim allegedly bailed on a series of London gigs after pocketing her GBP 12,000 fee – all because she had a nosebleed.

The hip-hop star travelled to London for a string of appearances at nightclubs across the capital between November 7-14.

Abstrakt Visions Entertainment (AVE), which organised the gigs, had handed over the $20,000 fee upfront and promised a further $20,000 later on.

But they say the 34-year-old New Yorker pulled out of the first gig – at Den & Centro club – at the last minute, claiming to have suffered a nosebleed in her room at the plush Millennium London Mayfair hotel.

Lil’ Kim and her entourage then reportedly jetted back to the US the next day.

AVE says it is now considering suing the star.

“After this, no promoter in London will book her again,” said a spokesman for the promoters.

“We had hundreds of Lil’ Kim’s fans packed in the club and waiting to see her. They weren’t happy after paying up to GBP 20 per ticket.

“We got her the make-up people that she’d requested and everyone was waiting for her.”

However, Lil’ Kim’s rep has defended her client’s actions, alleging the real reason she pulled out of the appearances was because of the promoters’ poor planning – insisting they failed to give her a proper schedule.

Lil Kim joined Cyndi Lauper for a duet at the concert which celebrated the birthday of Nelson Mandela at Radio City Music Hall in New York City last weekend. And surprisingly, the female rapper’s performance was really awesome. The two artists performed Cyndi’s hit ‘Time After Time’ which they mashed up with Lil Kim’s ‘Lighters Up’. Obviously, Lil Kim is not a singer but the fact actually works to her advantage in the duet. Lil Kim showed something that was raw, vulnerable and pretty about her singing. I think this is probably the most real she has ever been. I wonder if she’s planning to make a new album of her singing like Queen Latifah has done.

The Queen B is back as Lil Kim has come out with a so-called comeback single and video! Her new song is called ‘Download’ and it features rapper T-Pain. But as much greatness as there is between the two rappers, the song is just ok. It’s kind of mellow to be a Lil Kim single especially considering that it’s the first one after a very long time off the music scene. It sounds more like the B-side of an album instead of what’s supposed to be released as a single. She definitely could have done better but at the very least, there’s nothing really bad about the song.

Raunchy rapper Lil’ Kim has admitted she almost broke out of a skimpy prison warden’s uniform on Dancing with the Stars.

The curvy star needed host Tom Bergeron to step in to spare her blushes by blocking the cameras as she suffered a wardrobe malfunction on the hit show.

She told OK! magazine’s website: “Oh, the girls were trying to come out again!

“I hate it when they do that, they’re so nosy!”

Lil’ Kim was lapping up the judges’ praise for her sexy performance of the jive to Jailhouse Rock when she almost upstaged her impressive dancefloor performance.

Her costume seemed to slip as she hugged judge Carrie Ann Inaba, with dance partner Derek Hough alerting her to the problem moments later.

Host Tom Bergeron stepped in to shield her from the cameras and prevent viewers from seeing too much.

He helped the rap beauty adjust her low-cut top and cover up while blocking the camera shot.

Lil’ Kim looked to be guarding against another costume boob as she was interviewed in the green room afterwards, covering her right breast with her hand.

She had reason to celebrate though as her sexy performance earned her the top score of the night with an impressive 28 out of 30.

Lil Kim is one of the contestants on Dancing with the Stars. It’s pretty well known that there’s no cash prize for winning that show so it’s safe to say that the once big time rapper is on the wrong show. There’s no way that she could pay her taxes by melting a plastic trophy down. According to The Detroit News, Lil Kim reportedly owes $979,090 in delinquent state and federal taxes. She also reportedly owes money in the states of New York, California and New Jersey. Lil Kim’s rep says though that “Lil’ Kim is paying her tax debt and will continue to do so.”

Lil Kim recently spoke to RapRadar.com and claimed that she hears dead people – particularly the Notorious BIG. The female rapper said “I’m a very spiritual person and he’s come to me many of times in my dreams… at the end of the day, he knows who’s who and what’s what. Believe that. And let me tell you something, the way he’s feeling is going to come out. Like, trust me. Everything is going to come out later. You’re going to see who he really loved and the ones that’s standing up for him the right way is the ones representing him the right way.” Someone needs to lay off the gas fumes to save the only brain cell she has left. I doubt Biggie would talk to her from beyond just because she’s still bitter over the casting of ‘Notorious’.

Lil Kim is pretty pissed at how film makers made her look in the Biggie Smalls biopic that comes out this weekend. The BIG protégé/mistress’ camp released this statement on her behalf: “The film studio and producers involved were more concerned about painting me as a ‘character’ to create a more interesting story line instead of a person with talent, self-respect and who was able to achieve her own career success through hard work… Even though my relationship with Big was at times very difficult and complicated (as with most relationships we have all experienced at one time or another), it was also genuine and built on great admiration and love for each other. Regardless of the many lies in the movie and false portrayal of me to help carry a story line through, I will still continue to carry his legacy through my hard work and music.” Is it that hard to face the truth?

Lil Kim must be so sick of having to pay for lawyers. The female rapper has once again been sued, this time for $2.5 million for not delivering on a contract. The suit was filed by a recording company called Brookland Media recently. The suit claims that the company struck a deal with Lil Kim this year and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on recordings, equipment and advance payments when the rapper and her people tried to change the contract and refused to continue recording unless Brookland agreed. Brookland wants the court to declare the contract valid and bar Lil Kim from recording for another company.

The NYPD made a major breakthrough as they have arrested an employee of the karaoke club, Spotlight Live, that hosted Lil Kim’s birthday bash in connection to the death of a young woman whose body was found in a utility closet of the establishment. The victim’s mother sobbed to the media “My only daughter. I have no more daughter. I was a single mother for all my life. I work hard for her.” My condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends. As for Lil Kim’s involvement, a spokesman for the rapper said in an emailed statement that she had no idea on the matter until it broke the news.

It’s a fallacy that only poor people get their stuff repossessed – just ask Lil Kim. New York’s CW11 news visited the rapper’s house along with a repo crew for a report focusing on the rising number of car repossessions. Apparently, Lil Kim hasn’t paid for her silver Bentley in months. When she was confronted by one of the repo men, she told them that her accountant would take care of it but her car still had to be taken away. The repo guy said that “She didn’t wanna cooperate. Basically, she told us to get off the property. We were hoping that she’d give us the keys, being that it’d be the right thing to do. It’s not her vehicle.” Too bad they weren’t there to negotiate. Cooperate or not, they’re going to take your car away.
