Soulja Boy Gets an Ego

I think Soulja Boy is starting to get full of himself. The rapper is in the middle of putting some tracks together for his next album called ‘The DeAndre Way’. He has been fortunate enough to be able to get the help of some big name artists like Jay-Z, Eminem and Kanye West. According to Soulja Boy, Kanye gave him some pretty big compliments, saying “When I was in the studio, I played him a couple of joints, and then he just said, ‘Damn, he’s really starting to go hard.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, you feel me?’ … Out of all the artists to get the go-ahead or the co-sign from, it was Kanye.” I don’t buy it.

Eminem VS Gays

Eminem’s new song entitled ‘Elevator’ is getting a lot of buzz, and not in a good way. Members of the gay community are pissed to hear that the rapper is once again taking a swing at homosexuals. Specifically, the allegation is that he uses a play on words in order to refer to Lance Bass, Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert as faggots. The verse goes “Sorry, Lance, Mr. Lambert and Aiken ain’t gonna make it/ They get so mad, when I call them both fake/ It’s all these fucking voices in my head, I can’t take it/ Someone shut that fucking baby up, before I shake it.” People are saying that the part “fake it’s” sounds too much like “faggots” in the song. I doubt that’s coincidence.

Eminem gets X Factor offer

After the rapper’s outburst about how his complex musical experience would make him a key judge on the “talent show”, The X Factor, it seems Simon Cowell has taken a liking to the young candidate and is ready to take him under his wing. This is what the Earl of Exigence said on the matter: “It would be great to have him on as a guest judge. Em – I can call him that because we are on first name terms – the job is yours.” First name basis, eh? It looks like Eminem is really off to a head start. The guest judge is probably just a cover, Simon Cowell will most likely dispose of someone when the time is right. And now Eminem’s character development will take the most important step there is: the step into the dark side.

Eminem’s Music Publishers Suing Apple

Eminem’s music publishers, Eight Mile Style LLC, are going after Apple Inc., claiming they “never authorized the use of 93 songs in a downloadable format on Apple’s popular iTunes service.” The two companies are expected to being a non-jury trial proceeding today but it’s unlikely that the rapper will appear. It’s unknown how much money is actually at stake but Eminem’s people are claiming that they’ve lost upwards of $2.5 million from iTunes download sales. Apple is denying the whole thing saying that they have a legal and viable contract with Aftermath Records, which controls the recordings in question. Eminem’s music publishers also filed a lawsuit against the label saying that they had no right to provide the songs.

During an interview with the French radio program ‘Le 6-9’ last week, the host asked if Mariah Carey’s ‘Obsessed’ is a dig towards rapper Eminem. The singer replied with “I don’t even know who that is. I wrote the song and I’m very happy with it. And I’m happy with my new album. So I don’t know if somebody wants to write their little songs. I haven’t heard them on the radio, I don’t know what’s going on with that. They don’t seem to play them here in America. I’m not sure so I don’t know.” Wow. I think that’s pretty much a sign that this feud of theirs will never die.

The 28-year-old beauty said she isn’t annoyed by the mention of her bottom in the new track.

In the single We Made You, Eminem makes a reference to Kim’s “massive gluteus maximus”.

She said: “Eminem will be Eminem. I’ve never met him, but he mentions me in quite a few of his songs.

“He didn’t call me up before to ask if I’d be OK with it.

    Eminem was Robbed

Eminem has just been the victim of a robbery! While the rapper was busy getting tea bagged by Sacha Baron Cohen at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, a thief or two snuck into his Los Angeles hotel room and stole a bunch of his stuff. Some of the items that were stolen included a diamond necklace worth $60,000 and his laptop. I wonder if there would be any juicy stuff hacked out of his laptop. Naked pictures perhaps? I don’t want to see any of his junk though. Maybe there are some demos there that we can make fun of.

    Eminem’s MTV Movie Awards experience

The rapper had a nasty experience at the MTV Movie Awards last night when Sacha Baron Cohen descended from the roof of the Gibson Amphiteatre, dressed as his gay alter-ego Bruno, and grabbed Eminem’s head with his legs and said “Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?” The rapper was supposedly very upset by the whole thing and stormed out of the ceremony. It seems that the real Slim Shady did stand up. Eminem is back to his old, obnoxious self! A bottle of champagne is required under such circumstances. No more hippy logic, no more anti-gun statements, now it’s on!

    Eminem Apologizes

In a recent interview, Eminem surprised everyone by showing that he actually has a conscience, saying that he actually feels bad about the situation with Nick Cannon. The rapper explains that only after he heard the song he wrote about Mariah Carey did he realized that the lyrics were harsh. Eminem said that he did not expect the reaction from Nick saying “I had no idea Nick Cannon was going to start wildin’ out on me.” Eminem adds that he respects Nick for coming to the defense of his wife and wished them both the best. Who knew that the rapper had a soul?

    Eminem’s “Bugs Bunny feeling”

The famous rapper admitted that he felt like Bugs Bunny when he checked into rehab a few years back. Eminem relates his emotional endeavor back then: “When I landed myself in rehab in 2005 I felt like I wanted to reassess everything. I remember sitting in rehab thinking, ‘Is this what it comes to, really?’ So when I got out I knew I needed to pull back from the spotlight because of the fame thing. I was like Bugs Bunny in rehab, Bugs Bunny walking in the room. The second you walk in the room…” That makes sense… totally. I’m sure every famous rapper who has to check into rehab feels like Bugs Bunny. Eminem should thank his lucky stars that he didn’t feel like Daffy Duck because then there would’ve been some serious issues involved.

T.I. will be coming to Arkansas

The rapper will be paying a visit to the southern state, but unfortunately it will probably be longer than he wishes it and it won’t be for entertainment purposes. It seems that T.I. has a prison sentence to serve, like any respectable musician from his branch, and he’s going to be serving it in a low-security Federal prison in Forrest City. T.I. has supposedly proclaimed himself “King of the South” and now he’ll have the opportunity to vie for leadership in the institution where 1500 other inmates will be residing. Ironic that that number is exactly the same as the number of free tickets for Eminem’s free concert. I wonder if Eminem is up for a trip down south for his fellow rappers.

    Eminem Pays to Have Fans

Eminem’s recently leaked full album has got to be one of the crappiest albums I’ve heard this decade. I doubted he could actually do something nice. But it turns out that the rapper is doing something nice in return. Albeit, it’s a publicity stunt, but still nice. Reports are saying that Eminem is flying out 200 laid off workers from Toledo’s Ohio Modular Management. They’re all going to be part of Jimmy Kimmel’s audience on May 15th, the first of the rapper’s 3 appearances on the show. The workers flying to LA for the taping are from different auto plants in Michigan and Ohio who were laid off and do not receive certain sub-pay benefits. A former worker from the company revealed “He is flying us out, all expenses paid, for the show to put a face on the American auto workers who are affected by this hardship. He is supposed to do a meet and greet and sign autographs.”

    Nick Cannon VS Eminem

Nick Cannon got hold of Eminem’s leaked new album and he offered a scattered review of the tracks on his blog. Everything was going nice and mediocre until Eminem took a dig at Nick’s wife Mariah Carey. Nick debated with himself if he should challenge Eminem to a rap off but decides against it. He then arrives at the conclusion that Eminem insulted a black woman saying “this so-called man has just disrespected and slanderized one of the world’s most significantly influential artists, one of the most notable BLACK females of our time, the incredibly cherished, globally loved and world-embraced woman of color, Mariah Carey!” I doubt Nick even knew what he was talking about at the end of that blog.

    Eminem’s old drug returns

It’s actually a lot more optimistic than it sounds. Eminem actually made a statement recently through which he clearly shows that he’s off the conventional drugs and back to his cheeky old self. This is what Eminem said: “I almost feel like a little kid again with rap. I want to play around with different flows. If I don’t feel like it’s what I’m fully capable of, if there’s one weak line, I want to change it. Rap was my drug. It used to get me high and then it stopped getting me high. Then I had to resort to other things to make me feel that… now rap’s getting me high again.” It looks like Eminem is really excited about his upcoming release which bears the name “Relapse”. It seems that Eminem is back on track and a new wave of commercial success and whoring await on the bright, shining horizon.

Kim Kardashian honoured to be killed” in new Eminem video

Kim Kardashian said she is “honoured” to be ridiculed – and “killed” – in the new Eminem video.

The reality star gets mocked by the rapper for her famous booty and then gets stuffed into a wood chipper in the satire.

But she wrote on her blog that she loves it, according to US Weekly magazine.

“I just saw Eminem’s new video for We Made You, and he totally spoofs me!” she wrote. “It was a total surprise to me because I had no idea he was going to talk about me in the song.”

She added: “I think the video is so funny! I am a huge Eminem fan and find it flattering he would rap about me.

    “Personally, I’m honored.”

The new video, for a song off new album Relapse, also has parodies of Jessica Simpson and Sarah Palin, among others.

“There’s some celebrity bashing in it,” Eminem told MTV News. “I wanna say it’s not necessarily intentional bashing in it; it’s not necessarily taking deliberate shots at people…Yes, it is. What the f— am I talking about?”

Eminem will perform live during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards

His latest video is the talk of the town wherein he has spared no celebrity be it Lindsay Lohan or others. Some have just loved the facts that Eminem has honored them by using their names in his lyrics while some other naturally feel a bit offended. Yet his video wherein he “mocks” at the rest of Hollywood is a fad now.

Eminem will also be performing live at this year’s MTV Movie Awards and this news comes just days after he released his latest video ‘We Made You’ on Relapse album.

Eminem’s “We Made You” was first only on MTV.com on April 7, 2009. Statistics show that the video is the biggest music video debut of all time on MTV.com where in excess of 758K streams in its first 24 hours. This is 15% more than the previous record.

I have just seen the video and I think it is great, you all should check it out for youself.
