Coolio Clear of Jail
Coolio has reached a plea deal and has avoided some jail time. The has-been rapper was arrested back in March for possession of crack cocaine at LAX Airport. He was also arrested last June for traffic violation charges and having an outstanding warrant. He has pleaded guilty to felony cocaine possession in a deal that requires him to spend 18 months in rehab. Coolio can request for the case to be dismissed if he successfully completes the program. He is due back in court on September 28th for a progress report.

Coolio Claims Innocence
Has-been rapper Coolio was arrested at LAX for possession of crack cocaine a while back. The genius was going through security when authorities found the drugs on him. He was arrested and brought to jail later on. Coolio has been recently spotted at the airport again this week where the pesky paparazzi grilled him about the incident. That’s when the rapper started complaining that the cops should have done a bit more investigating to prove the drugs found in his bag were really his. He claims that the drugs weren’t his and that he didn’t even know that they were in his bag. He was probably too high to remember he put them there.
Coolio Gets Charged

Coolio has officially been charged with felony cocaine possession long with two other misdemeanors after cops say they found drugs in his luggage at LAX last week. Officials claim that the has been rapper, real name Artis Leon Ivey, grabbed a screener’s arm in an effort to stop the search. For that, officials also charged him with misdemeanor battery. Coolio also faces one misdemeanor count of possession of a smoking device. The rapper is due back in court on April 3rd and can face up to three years in state prison if he’s convicted. It just serves him right for the utter stupidity of what he did.
