Christina Milian has an interview in the new issue of Latina magazine where she talked about what it’s like to see her private relationships playing out in the media, the 27-year old said, “When it comes to relationships, I prefer to be very private about that part of my life. It’s just hard when you’re in the media and you’re in a place like L.A. where there’s paparazzi… or when you go to a place like Maui on vacation! A lot of people think I’m thirsty for attention, but I’m not looking for people to be publicizing those parts of my life!” The singer also talks about her upcoming single saying “It’s a song called ‘Supersonic’ and it’s a duet with The Dream.” The Dream is her singer and producer boyfriend.

Christina Milian has a new music video for her song ‘Up Against the World’. It’s the first single from the 27-year old singer’s upcoming album ‘Dream in Color’ which is due out in April 2009. The song is her first single since she got dropped by Def Jam Records back in 2006, allegedly because of Rihanna. Christina, who is currently signed with MySpace Records/Interscope, wrote the song herself and describes it as a “cinematic power ballad”. The song is cool and all but I still don’t think she’s any match for Rihanna. I doubt there’s anyone in this decade that can match Rihanna.

Christina Milian is back on her first magazine cover ever since she parted way with Island Def Jam back in 2006. The 27-year old singer broke her silence to Rap-Up on the emotional past 2 years, her reaction to ex-boyfriend Nick Cannon’s marriage to Mariah Carey and her new album on MySpace Records. She said something pretty interesting on the reason why she was dropped from her label though. She said “It was a budget cut, I believe. [Def Jam] probably got rid of projects like mine to spend the money on [Rihanna].” Those are some fighting words missy. Rihanna is queen and you know it!
