According to reports, Rihanna is a bit worried that Chris Brown could release a sex video that the two of them made. One source said “They’ve had tons of crazy nights in bed, and Chris has recorded many of them…They both have very kinky sides.” The source adds “Rihanna has no issues with her sexuality. But she’d be mortified if her friends and family found this out! This whole beating incident is terribly humiliating for her. She’s already traumatized and will do anything to make it all go away as quickly as possible. The last thing in the world Rihanna wants is to see herself in the sex videos all over the Internet! She’s an intensely private person.”
Nickelodeon Award producers may have stood their ground despite the increasing pressure to boot out Chris Brown from the Awards but what can they do when the awardee himself withdraws his name from consideration? This is exactly what happened after Chris Brown withdrew his name from the list of nominees for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards amid mounting criticism he has received for the physical altercation between him and Rihanna last February. Chris Brown has been nominated for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song in the said Award body.
While Chris Brown appreciates the unrelenting support from his fans despite the incident his representatives said the controversy involving Chris Brown and Rihanna has shifted the focus from his music to whether or not he should be allowed to be nominated. Chris Brown would have liked to speak personally to his fans about this but he could not pending the legal proceedings at this time. Chris Brown’s name has been removed from the Kids’ Choice Website effective Wednesday morning.
The singer thinks his fellow performer should show a bit of remorse about what he supposedly did to Rihanna after they had their argument in Chris Brown’s car. Usher had this to say after he saw pictures of Chris Brown on a jet ski in Miami, a short time after the incident: “I’m a little disappointed in this. After the other photo? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man is on a jet ski? Like, just relaxing in Miami?” Pretty bold of Usher to judge Chris Brown only from a few pictures… why does he expect remorse anyway? It was self defense! Chris Brown is the one who got attacked, or so they say. Did Usher miss this small detail?
After making comments seemingly in support of Chris Brown, rapper TI and actor Terrence Howard are taking back their statements. Both have admitted to speaking insensitively before knowing all the facts surrounding the domestic assault case on Chris Brown after he allegedly hit Rihanna. In his retraction, Terrence said “When they (paparazzi) asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of. Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive.” TI also said that his comments were out of line because he “made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation.” Lesson: think before you speak.
More updates are coming out about Rihanna’s condition after news broke that she and her boyfriend Chris Brown got into a violent fight early Sunday morning. Reports say that the 20-year old Barbadian babe’s injuries are more acute than previously speculated. As a result of whatever went down between her and Chris that Sunday, the singer suffered two huge contusions on both sides of her forehead, a bloody lip and bloody nose. One law enforcement officer compared Rihanna’s injuries to “an MMA figher or something… [It] looked like she was growing devil’s horns.” That is definitely not good news. Things are getting worse and worse about this.
Is it getting serious for Rihanna and Chris Brown? The couple was spotted last week getting their party on after one of Chris’ gigs. One spy witness said that Rihanna looked really happy back then. How could you not be happy with a new rock like that on your engagement/wedding finger? Ah! I can’t take this! They haven’t even come out about their relationship officially. Rihanna and Chris Brown rocked it out on stage during Z100’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City this past Friday night. 19-year Chris recently spoke about making a couple of guest spots on other artists’ albums saying “I did (a song titled “Human”) with Tim McGraw. It’s incredible. I wanted to do something more along the country line. That’s a bigger and different audience for me. I also did a song with the Japanese group called the Teriyaki Boys out of (producer/performer) Pharrell’s camp!” Is there anything that boy can’t do? He’s turning into a mini music mogul!
Being a member of the paparazzi can be dangerous sometimes. In may, bodyguards working for Rihanna and Chris Brown supposedly beat up a Florida photographer named Luis Santana for snapping some pictures of the couple getting cozy outside of a Florida club before they officially came out. On Tuesday, the photographer filed a $1 million lawsuit against the couple, the bodyguards and the club, who Santana claimed had inadequate security. The photographer told the media “I couldn’t believe it was happening. I’ve done this many, many times before and never have I ever gotten close to being grabbed. There’s a dark side to celebrities and nightlife.”
Chris Brown is a wanted man these days. As it turns out, the young crooner is the most viewed singer on in-demand television. Music Choice, one of television’s on-demand services, recently announced that Chris was the most requested artist in a one year period. His fans ordered millions of free plays to view his music videos and interviews. If you want the official number, Chris was ordered over 43 million times. Music Choice even honored Chris with its first Most Demanded award. Teenage girls were said to be the ones responsible for the massive downloads for Chris. The Jonas Brothers and Lil Wayne came in close which brought in millions of downloads.
Don’t be surprised if I tell you that another reality TV show is in the works. Chris Brown is teaming up with ‘Survivor’ producer Mark Burnett to make a new dance competition series with an emphasis on hip hop/street dance. The R&B sensation will pit contestants against one another in impromptu dance-offs in the as yet untitled project with Chris choosing the winner of each round. Chris commented on the show saying “Dancing is more than just a way of moving, it’s a different expression of music. That’s what I want to focus on with this show.” Burnett also commented on why he chose Chris for the show saying “Chris Brown really is a superstar, and someone who lives and breathes music and dance — so his credibility is massive in this arena. It’s his show; he’s headlining it. He’s the final arbiter on those who win and those who don’t.”

Rihanna performed on CBS’ The Early Show on Friday morning at New York City’s CBSStudiosPlaza. Her performance is going to air at a later date though. In other news, the 20-year old Barbadian beauty reacently spoke to Extra at the Cartier LOVECHARITY event. When she was asked about her romantic life, the singer replied “No, I am not in love.” Then what is she doing with Chris Brown then? Is it all just an act? Is the R&B crooner getting played by a girl who keeps claiming they’re like brother and sister? If so, it sucks to be him.
While they haven’t publicly announced that they’re dating, R&B royal couple Rihanna and Chris Brown threw matching peace signs while sitting in the audience at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards which was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on Sunday. Were they together on a date? Through the course of the show, Rihanna was seen affectionately touching her boy toy’s head. They are so cute! They should really just admit that they’re together already. If they’re already showing so many public displays of affection, I just don’t get why they still don’t want to admit to anything.
R&B superstar Chris Brown is touring all over the US right now but the guy who designed his sets says that the singer forgot to make one destination – the bank! A lawsuit has been filed against the ‘Kiss Kiss’ singer in federal court on Christmas Eve by John Troxtel who designed concert sets for Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Michael Jackson. He says that he was paid for some of his design work but “extra work was required and requested”. Troxtel alleges that an oral agreement was reached but when it came time to pay up, the touring company refused.
Troxtel is suing for breach of contract and unjust enrichment and is seeking damages of up to $1 million.
Rapper Lil Bow Wow, oh wait, I meant Bow Wow. He’s not so little anymore. Anyway, the rapper was rushed to a Cincinnati hospital on Thursday night after he came from a performance there.
His record label issued a statement saying that the 20-year old rapper is suffering from ‘stress and exhaustion’. They also said that while his tour with Chris Brown, Sean Kingston and Soulja Boy prepares to take the stage in Chicago, he won’t be able to make it. The Sony rep does say that “He loves them and will be sure to come back to Chicago soon!”

If Rihanna’s massive hit ‘Umbrella’ wasn’t enough to bring the house down, then maybe you would settle for Chris’ smooth dances moves. From dancing to his songs ‘Wall to Wall’ and ‘Kiss Kiss’ to an inspired homage to Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
When asked about what he thought of the performance, Justin Timberlake said “Nobody likes to be reminded that they’re getting older. And whatever Chris Brown just did reminded me of how I’m getting older – ’cause damn. It’s just exciting to see.”
R&B hot stuff Chris Brown is a big fan of Akon. And I do mean big. The singer even goes as far as copying Akon’s famous dance and hump incident with a fan at his New York City concert over the weekend. The difference, Chris’ dance partner was legal and she’s quite heftier than Akon’s skinny little 15-year old. He’s a mighty strong man then. And a big sport too. Must stop the puns.
