It seems that the rapper’s recently planned “small shows for the fans”, with up to 2500 seats available, mind you, aren’t really attracting many of those fans Chris Brown claims to have. It seems that all of his upcoming shows for which tickets have been selling since last week are not filling up at all, not even those that have only 1000 seats. Things aren’t looking too good for Chris Brown right now… maybe he should try some new stunt with somebody else, get his publicity up and running a bit, see if he can in any way boost his popularity. It’s a pity for all those wonderful tickets to go to waste…
The rapper who hasn’t shown much of his face since his incident with Rihanna was part of a rather interesting coincidence yesterday. Only hours away from when his former girlfriend’s single got on the internet, Chris Brown wrote on tweeter that his “first show back” will be next week at Power’s 105 Powerhouse. Must be one of those low-attendance venues he spoke of a few weeks back. Looks like the two are both back in business… maybe they’ll even get back together since Justin Timberlake’s probably going to be letting go of Rihanna for a bit and what woman could resist a dominating, imposing figure like Chris Brown?
Chris Brown is taking a break from his busy, court ordered hard labor schedule to go on a concert tour for whatever miniscule number remains of his fans. Why? The R&B singer recently posted on his Twitter saying “BOUT TO START A SMALL TOUR SOON.. 15 TO 20 DATES.. MY FAN APPRECIATION TOUR. just for yall.nothin bigger than 4,ooo seater.” He might as well also expect that there will only be 15 to 20 people attending each concert date and I’m not even counting the ones who will repeatedly be at the shows because they’re stalkers or groupies like that.
Chris Brown has debuted a smooth new song called ‘I Can Transform Ya’ which features Lil Wayne and was produced by Swizz Beatz. The song is the lead single from the R&B singer’s upcoming album ‘Graffiti’. It’s also the first official song to be released after his altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Here’s some lyrics from the new song “I can transform ya, I can transform ya/ Anything you want, I got it, I can get it for you/ You my baby girl, so you know I get it for you.” Talk about getting spoiled. Here’s a couple more lines “Shoes, you got it/ Bags, you got it/ Cars, you got it/ Money, you got it/ I can transform ya, anything you want, I can get it for you.” It sounds more like he’s trying to bribe someone or appeal to a gold digger.
Singer Chris Brown has told reality star Tila Tequila to keep his name out of her tweets.
Tila has egged on the With You singer to have a fight via the pairs Twitter pages and now Chris, 20, has responded.
Brown tweeted: “NOT TRYNA BE RUDE but i keep hearing tila bringing my name up. ur 15 seconds of fame has ended. dont try to gain fans by dissing me. godbless.”
Tequila, 27, has mentioned Brown several times on her Twitter page in the hope of getting a reaction.
Wrigley is formally terminating their relationship with Chris Brown. The chewing gum company had previously suspended their campaign with the R&B singer in February after the assault on Rihanna, saying they “believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen.” But after pleading guilty to felony assault last month, Wrigley has given Chris the permanent boot. The singer may have dodged doing hard time in jail but losing endorsements would seem to be a harder hit as he fails to earn money. He should really start thinking of other fallback careers by now. I doubt that he’s going to last any longer.

The so-called official line up for the Michael Jackson Tribute being held in Vienna, Austria on September 26th has been revealed. Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge, US5, Chris Brown and Angela Bassett are slated to perform while others are still being confirmed. That’s certainly an interesting line up. The big question is whether or not Jermaine Jackson will be able to follow through with his promise of big names like Madonna, U2, Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston. The late singer’s brother will be in for it if he fails to deliver. 45,000 of the King of Pop’s fans have already bought tickets.
Chris Brown opened up to CNN’s Larry King in an exclusive interview. It was the singer’s first television interview since he was arrested for the assault on Rihanna. The 20-year old R&B singer admitted that he was still in love with the Barbadian beauty and that he will be affected if she decides to date other men. He was shown a photo of Rihanna’s bruised face and he said “When I look at it now, it’s just like, wow, like, I can’t — I can’t believe that — that actually happened.” Chris also said that he’s now focused on moving forward, saying “I just need to prove to people I can be a role model. That’s not who I am as a person, and that’s not who I promise I want to be. I made a mistake and I — and it was just something I have to live up and own.”
This afternoon, Juelz Santana was arrested at his Teaneck, NJ, home on domestic charges. The rapper allegedly threatened to kill his wife, who then promptly called the police.
She was not harmed, though she told police that the threat was made in front of their child.
Juelz has collaborated with Sean Kingston, Cam’ron and (surprise, surprise) Chris Brown.
Violence, even verbal threats of violence, should never be tolerated. He should be ashamed!
Chris Brown was supposed to appear on Larry King Live to apologize yet again for physically abusing Barbadian singer Rihanna. I think it’s overkill. It’s not like he’s getting any more points for it. And again, I think it’s too little, too late. If he was really sorry, he would have apologized the second after he lifted his hands off of Rihanna. And apparently, the CNN host thought that it’s not relevant either, because the R&B singer’s appearance was cancelled. Chris’ reps were crossing their fingers that Larry will interview Chris because he has been known to not be so harsh during interviews as compared to others.
Legal documents were recently filed asking a judge to hold a reporter in the Chris Brown case in contempt of court. According to the documents, Russell Alan Wetanson runs a website that posted a video of interviews in the hallway outside the courtroom where the singer pled guilty to felony assault. Court rules prohibit that kind of taping. Wetanson, who also happens to be a lawyer, was notified by the public information officer of the court regarding the violation and the videos have since been removed from his website. However, a contempt hearing could now be set which makes it a possibility for Wetanson to be sent to jail. Why couldn’t they do that to Chris instead?
The rapper who beat up Rihanna, which might be the title some will be using to refer to Chris Brown from now on while most will substitute “rapper” with various other words, was seen kissing Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, at a party Saturday night, even though he already had a date. A source related the following about Chris Brown’s daring act: “Diddy announced the DJ would be performing a tribute to Michael Jackson. Chris did an amazing impression of Michael’s moonwalk. It wasn’t long before he was dancing with Amber. They were holding hands and making out in the shadows. She had her hand on his leg.” Looks like Chris Brown is trying to spark up something with Kanye West. Maybe he has a master plan of turning his reputation around.
Chris Brown is nothing but an epic coward as a plea bargain has been accepted in the assault case against the douche bag of a singer. The plea deal will require him to spend 180 days in a labor domestic violence program and get five years probation for felony assault. If he violates the probation in any way, he’ll get four years in prison. Rihanna appeared in court but did not have to testify as the plea deal was already made. The judge also asked her if she wanted to have a restraining order in place but she opted not to. Both the court and Rihanna are too lenient.
The singer has recently been subpoenaed to be present at her former boyfriend’s hearing which his lawyers recently failed to delay. Rihanna’s own lawyer, Donald Etra, said the following about her presence at the hearing: “Rihanna was served at my office by Los Angeles District Attorney investigators. If the preliminary hearing indeed goes forward, she is now legally required to be there, she will be there and will answer all questions truthfully.” It looks like Chris Brown is in for it from his former girlfriend. Still, why is there any necessity to assure everyone that Rihanna will answer the questions truthfully. Is there any doubt of that happening?
The photographer who is suing Chris Brown for assault, Robert Rosen, talked to paparazzi outside the place of his supposed attack, LA Fitness. In what may be one of the dumbest moves of an alleged victim, Robert actually talked highly of the R&B singer saying “Chris is a good guy … it’s no big deal.” The photographer even accepted full responsibility for his broken leg and even praised Chris’ bodyguards for doing their job. So why the lawsuit then? If you’re dumb enough to file a frivolous lawsuit, the least you can do is shut up about it. Chris may end up getting off on this issue.
After three months of laying low, Chris Brown has finally come out to speak. In a video shot by Bow Wow at Shaquille O’Neal’s house, the R&B singer said “I just wanna say ‘what’s up?’ because I ain’t been out there in a minute. But the new album is gonna be coming soon. We working on it right now. It’s called ‘Graffiti’. It’s got everything on it, so y’all be ready for that… Everybody that’s haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love you all. I ain’t a monster.” I wonder what he was doing at Shaq’s house.
According to a source, there’s some progress being made in the plea deal that Chris Brown has made in the Rihanna assault case. Exactly what that progress is remains unknown though. Chris is up against two felony charges following the violent February incident involving his now ex-girlfriend. Bargaining resumed yesterday and both parties tried to settle on a date for the R&B singer’s preliminary hearing. According to the source, however, though progress has been made, a solution is not “imminent” and “barring a last minute breakthrough”, it is unlikely that a deal will be announced anytime soon. I guess we’re going to have to wait for that hearing.
The rapper who risks up to four years of prison for assaulting his now former girlfriend, Rihanna, is supposedly close to a plea bargain. Sources claim that Chris Brown’s lawyers are in very heated negotiations and have almost secured a deal. However, Chris Brown is expected to plead not guilty in his next hearing. Does anybody every expect him to plead guilty? Especially after he had tried to spark rumors that Rihanna was actually the one who attacked him? Still, it looks like Chris Brown is going to get off easy this time. Commendations are in order for the judiciary system that offers him such opportunities. After all, we wouldn’t want society to have to do without his amazing musical genius for four long years.
According to reports, Rihanna is a bit worried that Chris Brown could release a sex video that the two of them made. One source said “They’ve had tons of crazy nights in bed, and Chris has recorded many of them…They both have very kinky sides.” The source adds “Rihanna has no issues with her sexuality. But she’d be mortified if her friends and family found this out! This whole beating incident is terribly humiliating for her. She’s already traumatized and will do anything to make it all go away as quickly as possible. The last thing in the world Rihanna wants is to see herself in the sex videos all over the Internet! She’s an intensely private person.”
Nickelodeon Award producers may have stood their ground despite the increasing pressure to boot out Chris Brown from the Awards but what can they do when the awardee himself withdraws his name from consideration? This is exactly what happened after Chris Brown withdrew his name from the list of nominees for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards amid mounting criticism he has received for the physical altercation between him and Rihanna last February. Chris Brown has been nominated for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song in the said Award body.
While Chris Brown appreciates the unrelenting support from his fans despite the incident his representatives said the controversy involving Chris Brown and Rihanna has shifted the focus from his music to whether or not he should be allowed to be nominated. Chris Brown would have liked to speak personally to his fans about this but he could not pending the legal proceedings at this time. Chris Brown’s name has been removed from the Kids’ Choice Website effective Wednesday morning.
