Beyonce’s highly anticipated music video for her new single “Party” has finally been premiered on BET’s 106th & Park show. The Kanye West-produced track is the latest offering from the R&B/pop singer’s platinum selling album “4”. For the video, Beyonce’s song features the official remix with J Cole. The Roc Nation rapper is also present in the backyard fiesta visual, alongside Kelly Rowland and Solange. I love it. It’s a very simple clip but it fits the song perfectly. I think it captured the flow and the vibe of the song and, as usual, Beyonce looks stunning. What do you think?

Beyonce has been nominated in five categories at this year’s Soul Train Awards. The 30-year old R&B/pop singer is up for Record of the Year for “Best Thing I Never Had”, Best Dance Performance for “Run the World (Girls)”, Album of the Year for “4”, and Best Female R&B/Soul Artist. Congratulations Beyonce and good luck! The 2011 Soul Train Awards tapes on November 17 in Atlanta and will air on Centric and BET on November 27. I wonder if she’ll be able to rake them all up. If not, what do you think she’ll be taking home? I’m sure she’ll take at least one.

US First Lady Michelle Obama recently answered a Twitter question in which she talked about listening to music while exercising for the Let’s Move campaign. Michelle said in regards to what songs are on her iPod “I always love Beyonce, so anything that’s fast-paced that she’s doing is a good one for me. I have very eclectic taste, so my playlist on my iPod runs from fast-paced to a little more mellow.” I wonder if the first lady ever tries to do some of Beyonce’s choreography. Maybe I should tweet her that. What do you think? She looks like she can get her groove on.

Beyonce is featured on the cover of the November 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, which hits newsstands on October 25. The 30-year old R&B singer spoke about pregnancy and motherhood with the magazine, saying “It was important to me that I gave myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my relationship, and my self-worth, before I became a mother. Now God has blessed us with the ultimate.” Beyonce also talked about her relationship with hubby Jay-Z, saying “We have been together since I was 20 years old. We took our time and developed an unbreakable friendship before we got married. I admire his ability to inspire others. To me, Jay represents the American dream. Jay’s music has helped define our generation. All that he has overcome and worked to achieve gives millions hope that they can become whatever they want to be. I respect him so much; he is a great man and a great artist.”

The 29-year-old singer managed to spend over 32,000 dollars in one hour while she was on a trip to London, shortly after that she bought a ring for which she paid 36 000 dollars.
The most consistent investment that Beyonce did was for the sake of Jay-Z and consists of luxurious Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport car worth $ 2 million, a gift that she gave ​​her husband with the occasion of his birthday.
OK Magazine named Beyonce the most spending star, followed closely by Oprah Winfrey.
The famous TV presenter has a private jet worth 42 million dollars and invested $ 20,000 in portraits of his pet dogs.

Check out one of the most anticipated tracks from Kanye West and Jay-Z’s joint album “Watch the Throne”. The song is called “Lift Off”. It was co-produced by Jeff Bhasker and Mike Dean, and features Beyonce. The two rappers spit some sick verses while the R&B singer takes charge of an anthem-sounding hook, all over a cool retro production. I think this is one of the stand outs on the album and I hope that they decide to give this the single treatment. I can only imagine the greatness of this being performed lived as well as the epic music video that will go with it.

Beyonce is featured on the cover of the September 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. The 29-year old R&B singer got to talk about some of her famous friends in the interview. When asked about her experience working with Lady Gaga, Beyonce said “She’s not afraid. I love that. She wanted me to do something crazy, and so I just rolled with it.” She also spoke about her blossoming friendship with Gwyneth Paltrow, saying “She pushes her boundaries all the time. You go to her house and she makes you feel like you never want to go home. She is what I strive to be one day.”

All it took was a month and Beyonce’s new album “4” has now been certified platinum. This is because the album has hit the one million units shipped mark. I would just like to point out that “shipped” doesn’t mean that the albums are “sold”. Some people are calling the R&B singer’s latest album a flop but Beyonce herself said that she wasn’t really aiming to break records with “4”. She said “I really wanted to get the critical acclaim. I feel like the longer I do this—I’ve been doing it for 15 years now—No. 1s are amazing, but to see some of the comments that the Rolling Stone and The New York Times and all of these credible, amazing, really critical magazines and papers [are saying] has really made me my proudest.”

Leaks are usually something that artists hate, especially when it’s the full album that gets out before its supposed release. Such was the fate that Beyonce’s latest album “4” received. The R&B/pop singer recently sounded off on the online leak of her latest record, going on her official Facebook page and saying “My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.” “4” will officially be out in stores and on iTunes on June 28.

The singer has recently admitted that even though she has a very good working relationship with her mother, the two do at times get a bit too verbal with each other. This is what Beyonce had to say on the matter: “It does get difficult sometimes. My mother and I work so well together and we agree. Well 99 per cent of the time. And the one per cent? We’re human. And sometimes we go back and forth but it never lasts.” Still, that doesn’t prevent Beyonce from trusting her mother with any and all of her business issues. This must be why she decided to take those kinds of responsibilities away from her father a little while back… she found somebody better.
