The singer managed to utterly mess up her performance at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival on Friday. Amy Winehosue was apparently so drunk that she cut her set list short and didn’t even manage to finish her last song. Her fans of course were very disgruntled by the whole thing and she was booed off stage. One of Amy Winehouse’s fans related: “Amy could barely stand up, she didn’t know the words to her songs. It’s a disgrace. She was so drunk she didn’t know where she was. She’s a lost cause.” Would a record label actually even go for a contract with her anymore after this stunt? But, truth be told… where there is great scandal, there is also great attention and if her fans were… perseverant enough to attend this concert after what Amy Winehouse has done in the past, you can bet that they will be there the next time around also.

In his latest music video, Eminem impersonates Amy Winehouse rapping “Amy, rehab never looked so good. I can’t wait, I’m going back.” It seems that imitation is his way of flattery as the rapper actually asked Wino to collaborate on a track with him, hoping for another hit in the vein of ‘Stan’ which sampled from Dido. Wino declined the offer though but a source said “Amy was flattered by the offer. She loves hip-hop and is a big fan of Eminem. But she didn’t feel it was the right thing to do at the present time.” Another source said that Eminem was fine with it saying “He understands that recently she hasn’t been in a state to focus on music because of her tumultuous private life but he hopes they will get together on a future project.”

The famous rapper is supposedly very keen on collaboration with Amy Winehouse. In an interview on the matter, Jay-Z said: “Amy has a really powerful voice. It is so distinctive and beautiful. Hopefully in the future we could get together and work on some new material – I’d love to work with her again.” Amy Winehouse has a powerful voice… oh, fudge cakes! Amy Winehouse has a controversial life, great publicity potential and a solid record sales history… that’s what Jay-Z is most likely trying to say… as subtly as possible. Jay-Z is most likely running out of business ideas lately or maybe he thinks he had such a good one this time and wants to stick to it no matter what.

Blake Fielder Civil doesn’t want Amy Winehouse back but he does want her money. According to Wino’s dad, Mitch, Blake is trying to squeeze out almost $7 million out of Wino. Mitch complains that “Amy’s a musical talent, but since she’s been with Blake she’s barely been able to perform on stage, let alone make a record.” He is afraid that Wino might return to the cracked out romance saying that his daughter is “guilty of loving [Blake].” Mitch further explains saying “I’m not saying she is going back to him, she just wants to talk. But I want her to get divorced. I want Blake and his family out of our lives… She nearly ended up dead thanks to him.”

The pair who pleaded guilty to offering Amy Winehouse some drugs for purchase were sentenced by a British judge this past Friday. 34-year old Johnny Blagrove was given a two year jail sentence while his cohort and girlfriend, 22-year old Cara Burton was given two years of community service. Well, we know who got off easy on that one. These two were aslo responsible for the not so flattering footage of Wino doing a bunch of drugs, wandering around in her crack den and trying to find her pet cat. Of course, the video was then sold to The Sun.

If you ever think that Amy Winehouse is going to be where she is supposed to, apart from deserving to be disappointed, I have to say that you need to pay attention more to your lessons. Wino was scheduled to perform at the Rock En Siene festival in Paris recently but she failed to show up due to some illness. At least that’s what a spokesman says. I would love to wish her a speedy recovery but I’m willing to bet that her illness is just a code for extreme hangover or being high. There’s absolutely no point in wishing her anything.

Amy Winehouse quit hospital in a rage after her decision to return to the stage backfired.

She threw a tantrum hours after her chaotic Glastonbury set and told dad Mitch to get her out. Friends now fear she may return to drugs — if she hasn’t already.

A pal said: “We feared a taste of the outside would remind her what she’s missing and it would be hard to get her back into life at the clinic. That’s exactly what’s happened.”

Rehab singer Amy, 24, was admitted to The London Clinic two weeks ago suffering from emphysema. She got clean and was “like an excited little girl” in the build-up to her comeback shows at Glastonbury on Saturday and Nelson Mandela’s Hyde Park birthday concert last Friday.

The pal added: “Doctors said we should let her do the shows because performing is what she lives for. We can’t take that away. It seemed the right thing to do because she was so excited. She looked and sounded better than she has in ages at the gigs.”

But Amy ranted on stage and elbowed a fan at Glastonbury. After her set she was whisked back to The London Clinic by helicopter — and 24 hours later she’d had enough.

The pal said: “Sunday was like she was on a terrible comedown from the whole thing. She kicked off and threw all her toys out the pram. She told Mitch, ‘I’m climbing the walls in here. I need to get out’. She said if he didn’t help her get out she’d walk out. He realized he had to let her leave, otherwise he’d have no control over where she goes and what she gets up to.”

The pal added: “He’s with her and keeping and eye on her, but he’s beside himself. Everyone is gutted as she’d been doing so well and hasn’t touched any drugs for two weeks. But now she’s out we fear it will all go downhill.”

A spokesman for Amy confirmed she had left the clinic and would be treated as an outpatient. She spent last night with pals at a local pub and kebab shop.

Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital yesterday after collapsing at home. Friends called an ambulance for the troubled singer after she fainted and fell down a flight of stairs. However, 24-year-old Amy sent the emergency services away, insisting her dad Mitch drove her to hospital instead.

A source said: “Amy is really stressed at the moment and is struggling with her husband Blake in prison. This collapse was a real shock for her. Thankfully she came round shortly after she blacked out. When the paramedics came and checked her over she was shaking and accepted she needed to go to hospital.”

Amy’s spokesperson confirmed she had been hospitalised overnight, but insisted the incident was not serious or drugs related. The representative said: “Amy was at home when she briefly fainted. Fortunately her manager’s assistant was there. She quickly recovered and her father Mitch took her to hospital as a precaution. Doctors are unsure of the cause of the incident and Amy is undergoing tests.”

Amy reportedly suffered a sprained ankle when she fell.

Amy Winehouse must stop singing if it means she wins her drugs battle, says the man who discovered her.

Nick Godwyn signed the singer when she was just 16 – and claims her ambition back then was to be a waitress.

Nick dismissed claims that the troubled singer is throwing away her talent, but says he is saddened by what has happened to her since she shot to fame. He said: “What is happening now is not very pleasant for anybody to watch. I feel she seems to be sad. People talk about wasted talent, but I don’t look at it like that. If Amy never made another record again it would be sad, but it’s less about the music for me and more about ‘this is a human being that maybe isn’t very happy’.”

Nick also revealed he discovered Amy – who has allegedly battled alcohol, drugs and a eating disorder since becoming famous – after one of the ‘Rehab’ singer’s friends played him a tape of her singing. He explained: “I was at the house of one of my other artists when he put on a tape. I asked who it was and he said just a friend. I couldn’t believe how good she sounded so I asked her to meet me. I asked Amy what she wanted to do with her life and she said she wanted to be a waitress.”

Nick admits her early lyrics provided an indicator that Amy, now 24, wasn’t happy even back then. He added: “There were signs, even back then, that she wasn’t happy. You can listen to the words of her songs and there aren’t many happy, upbeat love songs. And I think that’s a reflection of where she is. She only writes songs from personal experience. There are some beautiful songs which, lyrically, are fascinating. But some of them are quite sad.”

Rumors are going around that Amy Winehouse is about to leave her current label after her next album so she can get her own label up and running. Wino was supposedly influenced to go into the label thing by Alex Haynes, the guy who she was rumored to have an affair with and is also her manager’s assistant. A source told UK’s Sun “For the first time in her career, Amy is beginning to have her head turned by the cash she can make.” The source also says that Wino wants to sign her friends Remi Nicole and Tyler James and have control over her own finances. If this is true, it will likely end in disaster. Amy can barely take care of herself. How will she take care of a business?

Much like Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse is the talk of the town. But unlike Britney, people have more positive things to say about the British singer these days – save for Natalie Cole. Sheryl Crow is the most recent celebrity to comment on Wino and here’s what she had to say: “I want to collaborate with Amy [Winehouse] because she’s really hot and cool right now. I know one song ‘Rehab’ was very popular particularly because a lot of young people are in rehab as well. In fact I’m thinking about going. It looks like loads of fun and I know my career will benefit from it.” Weird, but eh.

Mary J. Blige is on the new issue of Interview magazine and in her, pardon the pun, interview, she talks about none other than fellow singer Amy Winehouse. She says that “Someone like Amy Winehouse is so important to the music business right now. It’s very painful (to see her battle drugs). I hope she makes it. I think it (the music industry) kind of got lost and we ended up in a drought for a while, but I see it making a turn, so instead of music being just synthetic, we’ll see it going back to actual instruments. That’s what I’m hoping for anyway.” We’re all hoping for it.

The guy that Amy Winehouse has been spending a lot of her time with, her ex-boyfriend, the guy that’s got Blake Fielder-Civil livid, happens to be a musician as well. And he’s quite good. He can pretty much pass as the British Robin Thicke.

His name is Tyler James and you just have to love his blue-eyed soul. He’s got great songs in ‘Your Woman’, his duet with Wino ‘Best for Me’ and ‘Why Do I?’. It’s such a bummer that we can’t buy his music on iTunes over on this side of the pond. And yeah, we really get why Blake is livid right now. While he’s in jail, his wife is singing duets with her ex.

After the success of her album, a lot of people have predicted that Amy Winehouse would be the queen of the Grammy’s. And when the nominations were announced on Thursday morning, that’s what the rest of the world thought too. Wino scored the most nominations for a female with 6 nods. It’s good to know that despite all the trouble in her life, something good can still happen to Wino.Kanye West actually came out with the most nods, with 8. Five acts received 5 nods each – the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and T-Pain. In a bit of an upset, favorites like Fergie and Mika only scored a nomination each.

Can you say pathetic? I can understand love struck but this is just dumb. Amy Winehouse has cancelled her UK tour and all promotional appearances through 2008 because she’s too upset about her husband Blake Fielder-Civil being in jail. Professionalism is definitely not in her vocabulary.Wino released a statement on Tuesday saying “I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake. I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”

The few shows she has done have been slammed by critics and fans. It at least saves everyone else and they get refunds too.

Amy Winehouse gave one of her usual bombed-out performances at the MTV Europe Music Awards. She was even booed off the stage when she could barely say the word “Thanks” after receiving her Artists’ Choice award. However, the new drug-free Pete Doherty says that Amy is on “the straight and narrow,” Holy crap…I was going on and on about how freaking ugly she is (all the time when I see her pics on the internet and music news sites)…then I got a look at her husbands teeth! Sweet mother of Jesus! Can you imagine kissing that thing! It looks like he’s never brushed a day in his life. Bet it smell reals nice, jack! He wouldn’t be a bad looking guy though if he wasn’t so messed up on drugs and hadn’t messed up his body. Yipes; these 2 are obviously not good for each other. I bet there’s some serious mental & emotional abuse going on, in addition to the drug abuse. Hope she gets out of that situation alive.

Apparently Lily Allen has lost quite a lot of weight after undergoing several sessions of hypnosis with Susan Hepburn, who ‘reprogrammed her brain’ to like organic food and trips to the gym. All I can say is that she looks great and maybe celebs like Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse could also do well with some help from Hepburn. But will anyone explain to me that why the hell are we so obsessed with our celebrities being size zero or looking skinny and then only we will like them and follow their acts. Why is that we do not judge them on the basis of their work and performance and just because they look cool, dress up smartly and drive big cars. She is a singer and not a model who will not get a contract from the agents coz she is plum and over sized. Yes it is nice that we have a slim body that the frame our hip bust and other vital stats are good and make us look attractive. But I have my reservations against people who would discriminate against people who are not – ‘perfect’ in size and shape.

Really like her – because she does her own thing AND has a beautiful voice – and hope so much she gets herself together (right expression?) – cause it would be a shame she throws her life away. The night that she overdosed, Amy said she smoked heroin, snorted cocaine, took ecstasy pills, took Ketamine pills, and drank tons of vodka and whiskey. Puke! Just saying vodka and whiskey aloud makes me gets that tingling feeling in my lip like I might vomit. How does this chick do it? How disgusting. Let’s hope she gets some help. I really am puzzled at one thing, they booze so much, they ecstasy pills and heroin and if there’s something else then I do not know the word for the obscure thing but how do they manage to keep their voices intact and still manage to sing that well, by now they should have lost their voices completely. That’s a miracle to me.

The British pop star Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital today. This has started speculation about her health. She was taken to a hospital in London and was reported to be suffering from “severe exhaustion”. This isn’t her first run in with exhaustion issues. Just last month she had to cancel a series of concerts after she was ordered by doctors to get some rest. Other information on Winehouse leads me to believe that this is more than a case of exhaustion. It sounds more like it may be a chronic hangover. Winehouse recently spoke about her partying lifestyle and needing to calm it down. She was also witnessed at a concert in July, hitting herself in the head repeatedly with a microphone. That is incredibly messed up. If that’s not a clue you need to fix your lifestyle then what is? She has already been released from hospital and sent home with orders to rest.

4500 fans ended up being disappointed when they found out that Amy Winehouse canceled her July 4 show in Liverpool. It doesn’t help when you find out that she was seen drinking out later that evening.

The ‘Rehab’ singer called off the concert due to a supposed illness. It’s not good to know that the supposed illness was a bad case of a hangover. Then she goes out that night to have some drinks at a London Pub with her hubby. She was also seen drinking the previous day.

I think Amy is over wanting to sing for a living. I think she wants to drink for a living.
