Precious star Gabourey Sidibe said she wants Justin Timberlake to be her date for the Oscars next month.

Sidibe, 26, is nominated for Best Actress at the ceremony on March 7 and the actress said she’s been thinking about a date for the bash.

She said: “I want to make Justin Timberlake and [The Hurt Locker star] Anthony Mackie fight it out for the honour of being my date.

“I’m just going to throw them in the ring and make them do it!”

Asked if she had to pick one out of Mackie or Timberlake, she said: “Justin, if you’re not doing anything on that night, maybe you could be my date or something. It’s fine. No pressure!”

Alicia Keys greeted the cameras with a wink and a nod on the Oscar red carpet this past Sunday. The singer showed up to the ceremonies in a pretty risqué purple floor length gown. It still made her look fabulous though! However, I’m not entirely sure about that hair. It’s too obvious that Alicia was wearing some sort of hair piece. I’m wondering why she was there though. Oh well, I’m more ok with her being there than I am with Miley Cyrus being there. Honestly, I think the Oscars need to screen the attendees of the ceremonies to avoid having unwanted guests.
