New from Pitbull – Rain Over Me

RedOne has crafted another brilliant electro pop/dance track, this time for Pitbull’s “Planet Pit” album, which is set to hit stores on June 21. The song is called “Rain Over Me” and it has the rapper throwing some sick verses while Latin pop singer Marc Anthony delivers some amazing hooks. The song is absolute fire with some sick beats. Pitbull has another global smash on his hands. Kudos to RedOne for making what I think is one of his best productions ever. I wonder if this is going to be given a single treatment or if it’s just one of the many songs that have come out.

Beyonce’s Album Leaks

Leaks are usually something that artists hate, especially when it’s the full album that gets out before its supposed release. Such was the fate that Beyonce’s latest album “4” received. The R&B/pop singer recently sounded off on the online leak of her latest record, going on her official Facebook page and saying “My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans. When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.” “4” will officially be out in stores and on iTunes on June 28.

The Black Eyed Peas don’t do well in bad weather

Well, it wasn’t their entire fault, but they might have tried to step up a bit and get a solution going. It seems that a recent concert that the Black Eyed Peas had in Central Park was cancelled due to lightning after thousands of fans waited for hours on end through extreme heat and rain to see the band perform. The organization in charge of the even released the following statement: “The heat wasn’t going to stop them, the rain wasn’t going to stop them, but the lightning-it stopped them. It came down to safety for everyone.” Apparently the police got involved too so the Black Eyed Peas probably couldn’t have done too much about it. But still, they might have at least tried to offer some compensation… an autograph or a tap-dance or something.
