New Music from Mya – Love is the Answer

Mya is back with some new music for her fans. The singer’s new single “Love is the Answer” hit iTunes on February 8th. The techno/dance pop track was produced by French DJ Cedric Gervais. Actually, it’s his song but we all know it’s not the DJ that gets a lot of credit when someone else does the actual singing. The DJ released the new single as part of a 6-song EP consisting of different remixes of the song and a radio edit. I think it’s hot! While I love Mya’s R&B roots, I think this is what she needs to do to get back in the game. The song has great club beats and good lyrics to go well with Mya’s beautiful voice. I’m hoping for more collaborations between these two in the future.

New Music from Big Sean – My Last

After several mix tapes and collaborations, American rapper Big Sean will finally release his debut solo album this year. The album, called “Finally Famous: The Album”, will reportedly be released in March via Def Jam. The project’s lead single is a song called “My Last”. The track, which was produced by No ID, leaked in 2010 in its demo version but I now have the final cut for you. The big difference is that the final edit has R&B singer Chris Brown as a featured artist. It sounds like a hit to me. And as I previously mentioned, Chris is everywhere this year.
