DMX’s hearing

The rapper who was recently accused of violating his probation appeared in court in order to testify to his innocence. In short, DMX pleaded not guilty to violating his probation even though he has failed to submit to his usual drug tests and is accused of having overdone it a bit lately with some Peruvian marching powder. For now though, DMX isn’t going to prison, but he does have another hearing on the 9th of December and things look a little bleak for him, especially given his record. But hey, there’s always a chance for change and maybe DMX can squeeze it all in a week and a half and convince the judge of his good behavior.

Rihanna Talks Drake

Some time after the Chris Brown debacle, Rihanna was briefly linked to her “What’s My Name” collaborator Drake. The rapper later revealed that he felt as though the Barbadian R&B singer played him. Rihanna has since been dating Matt Kemp but she recently explained why she felt her fling with Drake didn’t work out. She said “We weren’t really sure what it was. I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is – like it was what it was… We didn’t want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn’t want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time.” It’s too bad that they didn’t work out but I’m glad they remained friends and managed to work on some great music.
