Kanye West Talks Arizona

Kanye West is the latest celebrity to boycott performing in Arizona as a form of protest in regard to the state’s ridiculous immigration law. The rapper said “When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat, they arrested her. As a result, people got together and said, ‘We are not going to ride the bus until they change the law.’ It was this courageous action that sparked the Montgomery bus boycott. What if we got together, signed a collective letter saying, ‘We are not going to comply. We are not going to play in Arizona. We are going to boycott Arizona?!’”

MIA Tweet Interviewer’s Number

It seems that MIA was very mad about her cover story in New York Times Magazine that she went on her Twitter and posted writer Lynn Hirschberg’s phone number. The article tackled the rapper’s crazy political views and that even though she is married to the son of a billionaire, MIA is still ghetto. The writer spoke about MIA’s actions saying “It’s a fairly unethical thing to do, but I don’t think it’s surprising. She’s a provocateur, and provocateurs want to be provocative…[it's] infuriating and not surprising.” Lynn also said that she has no plans on changing her number even after MIA’s Twitter post.
