Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard on Tour

Season two American Idol champion Ruben Studdard and his runner up Clay Aiken are going on tour together starting on July 23 in North Carolina to perform “renditions of classic hits from the past five decades.” Clay said “I couldn’t ask for a better tour mate. To be able to share the stage with him again is so exciting. He is such a talented artist. He inspires me daily and I think that respect and admiration will truly be reflected in our show.” Ruben adds “It is truly a blessing and an honor to be on the stage with my friend. The relationship that we have built over these past eight years will definitely translate into a great show for our fans. Usher to Top Charts Next Week

Usher’s new album ‘Raymond v Raymond’ was released this week and is poised to take the top spot on the HITS sales chart with an estimated 330,000 to 350,000 in sales. The R&B singer scored a record combined weekly audience of 44.6 million at Urban radio for all three of his latest singles, ‘There Goes My Baby’, ‘Lil Freak’ and ‘Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)’ and had over 1.5 million downloads and ringtones before the album was even released earlier this week. It sounds like his comeback is going to be huge. I wonder if that will be enough to take the Billboard throne from Justin Bieber too.
