Michael Jackson, the so called king of pop has announced his “final ever” London shows. On Thursday March 5, 2009 took to the stage after keeping thousands of fans waiting for several hours and then made a major announcement. He confirmed that he will perform a 10-night residency at the O2 Arena in July.
Michael took center stage for just 3 minutes and was greeted by screaming fans who had followed him right when his silver bus left the hotel premises all the way up to the O2 Arena. Wearing a black jacket and dark shades he said: “This is it. I just want to say that these will be my final show performances in London.
He further added “I love you so much. This will be it. When I say this is it, it really means this is it. I’ll be performing the songs my fans want to hear. This is the final curtain call.”
It’s too ‘BAD’ that this superstar has chosen ignorant Brits for his final 10 shows, as I believe the right thing to do would to spread them out World Wide, across Europe, Canada, and the U.S. Most of his 750 Million albums in History were sold in the western hemisphere and what repayment do we get?
