R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo just proved how much of a pimp he is as he walked out of opera a few days ago with several beautiful girls on his arm. And ever the crowd-pleaser, he decided to please them all at once by buying all the roses that the neighborhood flower lady was selling. And you know that made her day too.
While Ne-Yo was buying roses, other vendors bombarded him wanting to sell him CDs or to take his picture. The singer remained quite the gentleman by not only buying what they were selling but doing the impromptu photo op as well.
I guess his model-like ladies got him in a good mood.

Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher hates his band’s early material – comparing his voice to cartoon bird Tweetie Pie. The Live Forever singer, 35, cringes when he hears songs from Oasis’ 1994 debut Definitely Maybe. What’s the story morning glory is a great album. Definitely Maybe is just ok. Retrospection mostly gives the negative jibes to all people because after some 10-12 or even later we all think about the mistakes we made in life and how we could have done it in a different fashion. There are always many ways to do many things but what sense you have at the age of say 25 are certainly going to be different from what sensibilities one has at 35-40. Liam everyone tries to be a perfectionist at their jobs be it a manager at McDonalds trying to deliver a perfect burger or a musician trying to make the perfect composition. Keep trying one we all will be good if not perfect.

How many times has Michael Jackson made a comeback? Maybe Britney should take notes. But then again, maybe not.
The king of pop is on the cover of the October 2007 issue of L’UOMO Vogue magazine. His photo shoot was headed by photographer Bruce Weber.
The magazine shoot is reportedly part of a deal Michael struck with designer Roberto Cavalli. Details of the deal says that Michael would do the photo shoot for Cavalli and in return, the famous designer would make clothing for Michael for his new look to support the release of his new album.
How picky of him.

Rapper David Banner defended his controversial lyrics on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, as fellow hip-hop star Master P apologized for using the word ‘bitch’ on his past hits. “Drugs, violence and the criminal element were around long before hip-hop existed.” Yeah, and nobody used adjectives like “b*tch, ho, and [the n-word] to describe that criminal element. What a *ahem* douche. What an idiot. Does he think his “hip-hop” is doing anything to eradicate Drugs, violence and the criminal element with his music? Sure they’ve been around a long time…..but why promote it in that fashion? D*ck. All these words existed and many more exist even today and those that do not exist can be created and used as often as one likes, but game on assholes would you ever use those same words to describe your current relations. People use abusive words ok, but if you are a singer then your music release has the words in the lyrics and the album is circulated all over the world, people buy and then they use the lyrics and hurt others. In a way these rappers are highly responsible for young kids violent acts.
McCartney and Starr coming home for Year of Culture

Former Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are coming home to celebrate Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture in 2008.
McCartney is headlining a concert at Anfield Stadium, home of Liverpool Football Club, while Starr is joining forces with Eurythmics member Dave Stewart for “Liverpool The Musical.”
“It’s going to be a great year,” McCartney promised in a statement on Thursday detailing plans for the northern English city’s cultural bonanza.
“I’m very proud of the city and I look forward to welcoming you all and showing you a good time,” McCartney said.
He is headlining next June’s concert which will be broadcast live to a worldwide audience. The full line-up is to be announced later.
The Liverpool musical was described as “Stravinsky meets Hip Hop” with an eclectic cast ranging from Ringo Starr to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Queen of pop is planning another world tour next year to celebrate turning 50. Madonna, who turns 50 next August, will call the tour “Madonna at 50.” I would never pay that much money for tickets to see her. I think it’s messed up that she charges that much. Plus the fact that she does stuff just to piss people off bugs me. I don’t care that she was on a cross for part of her performance I care that she did it just to cause shit and piss people off. I can’t stand this lady anymore. I saw her in Hartford Ct. Why to pricey no air condition she was not that good she spent 1/2 the time changing cloths maybe showering it was so hot. And her back up dancers did alot of stuff I paid to see her not them. Plus she was preaching. I would see Justin Timberlake Again he rocked the HOLE time….

A music video that is. Emmy Rossum has just released her video for ‘Slow Me Down’, her first single off of her upcoming ambient pop album which is due out on October 23. If you want to know what that means, well, if you like Imogen Heap, Frou Frou and Sia, you are definitely going to love Emmy.
Emmy talked a little about her video at the Teen Choice Awards last month. She went on the record about how the video was shot and it’s connection to the song saying “We were shooting at different speeds because the song’s about the pace of life and to create the blur of the world and how overwhelming that can be.”

It was first reported that he ended up straining his voice due to his performance at the 2007 MTV VMAs which took place in the middle of his massive tour. But this is Justin Timberlake and he was raised to be a good southern boy with all those loveable southern qualities. Honesty, being one of them.
The ‘SexyBack’ singer went back to San Jose, California Sunday night to make up for the concert that he cancelled the day after the Video Music Awards. Justin took time to speak to the audience and revealed the real reason as to why he cancelled. “Certain bloggers said I cancelled because I was hung over and they were right… I was.”
You can’t blame him now.

Fall Out Boy are using their fame to raise awareness about the use of use of child soldiers at war in Africa. Great strategy to get attention…sounds very interesting, though. I hope I get to see the video. But if they are really committed to bring attention to some really important child labor and child exploitation issues then that’s a worthy cause that they are putting their efforts into bring people and the world’s attention to. And if this is another of those self gleaming, attention hogging attempt so that the people see them as a band that has concerns and wants to make the ‘difference’ that we all say with capital letters ‘DIFFERENCE’ then I tell these guys have chosen such a sensitive issue to get people’s attention that if they do not make any visible attempts to doing something on the issue then they should be banned from holding concerts and selling their music.

And the thief had some nerve to even shout what he did. I hope the thieves get what’s coming to them. Or can it be the other way round, look at my mischievous mind. Was the person who stole the work a spy agent hired by the person from whom Keith stole the work and now it has come a full circle? It could have been the successful plot of a movie, a struggling music artist approaches a then rap mogul to help him find a foot in the music industry, he throw the new kid on the blow out of his home. New kid wants revenge for the insult, he somehow manages to steal the great’s work and now that aging icon hires a spy to recover his work. The moral behind this story is – never insult someone who needs your help and never resort to cheating. Blockbuster movie and Keith Murray is willing to pay $7000 for a laptop.

Rapper Chamillionaire has joined the hip-hop heavyweights who have cut the ‘n’ word from their lyrics – because he doesn’t want to put derogatory words into white fans’ mouths. So much for a thinking mind, what else were these rappers doing for so long. These ‘n’ words and the ‘F’ word have been used so extensively that there ain’t a good album out there in the stores that hasn’t used explicit videos and lyrics in the album. I think that’s the best news I heard all day. Except for my Yankees news! But seriously, do children really need to continue making that word something people of all generations still have to hear. Enough already! We have come to a point in our society where words (thru rap) really do carry a lot of power. Why not empower the children of our society with words that can cause an epidemic of conjugation of all generations instead of dissention among them? Someone’s gotta think that how are we going to let the kids get exposed to such horrible things, it’s got to stop now!

If he’s a man of his word, 50 Cent would be announcing his retirement any day now. The votes are in when it comes to the UK because their new album chart says that Kanye West’s new album ‘Graduation’ is the #1 album on the other side of the Atlantic. 50 Cent’s album ‘Curtis’ came in at the runner up position.
50 is also expected to lose to Kanye in the US as Kanye’s album is predicted to outsell 50’s by 200,000 units. But 50 might find a way out of retirement by making up some blatant lie.
But then again, 50 might have also felt the heat from Kanye’s victory as he has cancelled his European tour which was supposed to kick off this weekend. Wow!

Fall is upon us and so are the divas. It seems that all the divas that we know and love are coming out with new records this fall season.
Much like Kanye West and 50 Cent, some divas are going head to head with their releases. Celine Dion and Britney Spears will battle it out first when both of their upcoming albums drop on November 13. We would then see another diva showdown a week later in the form of Mary J. Blige with her upcoming album ‘Growing Pains’ to be released on the same day, November 20, as Mariah Carey’s new record.
It seems that the only diva missing from that list is Madonna. When is her album coming out?

Luciano Pavarotti’s adult daughters chastised the media Tuesday night about reports claiming they are squabbling with the late tenor’s second wife, and said they were not aware that their father made any changes to his will as he neared death. Money is money, and look his daughter is already giving an indication that money matters the most when she is speaking about changes to the will by Pavarotti. If the will is in their favor then I am sure that they will have no problems with anything that is said in the media, but if Pavarotti made any changes that give his second wife a few goodies from his wealth which his daughters are not aware then see what kind of drama is created, all the ladies would come out on the streets making all false comments and derogatory remarks against one and another.

Jennifer Lopez has released some promo shots for her upcoming album ‘Brave’ which is due out on October 9.
When asked to comment about the sound of her new album, Jennifer said that “This album is more of what people and my fans are used to. You know, just kind of dance, funk, R&B, hip-hop, all that stuff, all mixed up together to make some great pop music.” It sounds more like she’s trying to be the female Justin Timberlake if you ask me.
Later on in the month, Jennifer and her husband Marc Anthony will co-headline a worldwide tour which will kick off in New Jersey on September 29.

This is an incredible event that I bet no-one even imagined could happen. I thought that Led Zep was History! But these guys have an uncanny knack of dong the unthinkable when you think they are done with for good and the least expected. Anyways, what a nice thing to do for a friend or loved one. That’s absolutely Cool! Well done Guys You show what compassion means by actions. And what a great action. I have some words for these sites owners too, may be they just didn’t expect such a great response from the fans but still they should have had arrangements in place for such an event. I haven’t heard of a site break down in years, means like what could have been so drastic that the site stopped functioning.
