Queens of the Stone Age is a band that really had overnight success thanks to their 2002 album “Songs for the Deaf”. They practically disappeared from the underground and appeared as one of the best new hard rock acts. Since then the band has been having problems. There was a flop with the 2004 album “Lullabies to Paralyze” that forced the band to stop everything and re-group.
The result is a new album due June 12 via Interscope. It will be called “Era Vulgaris” and front man Josh Homme said that on every album there are different tracks that he had pieces of for around 10 years. This made everything easier and the new Queens of the Stone Age line up is also one that is comfortable for everybody. The band is confident that the album will mean a comeback long awaited by fans.
