Sizzurp is typically ingested in styrofoam cups and is becoming a thing in the hip hop community. Things are definitely looking bad for TI and Tiny.
Chris Brown recently got a huge pat on the back from the judge in his felony abuse case, including a “great job” for following the terms of his probation so well. During the brief hearing, the judge reviewed the progress report document turned in by the R&B singer’s lawyer Mark Geragos. Needless to say, the judge was very pleased with what she saw. The judge said that Chris has been attending all of his court-ordered domestic violence counseling sessions and has been working consistently on completing his community labor. Good for him. Chris’ next progress report hearing is on November 18.

Club promoter Lofraco Belgium has filed a lawsuit against Akon for flaking just eight days before his scheduled concert performance in Belgium last October. The promoter claims that the show was supposed to feature two performers on the rapper/singer’s label Konvict Music, namely Kardinal Offishall and Colby O’Donis. He is suing for breach of contract, fraud and concealment. Not only is he asking for his $250,000 in expenses back, but he is also asking for a couple million in punitive damages. If you commit to your appearances, you don’t have to face lawsuits and lose money. Take note of that.

Wyclef Jean has reportedly not given up on his aspirations to become the next president of Haiti. The hip hop singer plans to send a lawyer to the courts to appeal their rejection of his candidacy. He claims that he has legal papers “which shows everything is correct and feel that what is going on here has everything to do with Haitian politics.” This is certainly getting interesting and I will be tuning in to see how it all unfolds. Jay-Z has agreed to be the guest star on U2’s “360 Degrees” tour in Australia. The rapper is likely to warm up the atmosphere for one hour before the concerts supported by the Irish band in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Auckland in New Zealand. U2 and Jay-Z have collaborated in November last year when they performed in front of Brandenburg Gate in Berlin the song “Sunday Bloody Sunday.”. “It was very important for the band that they could bring the “360 °” tour in Australia and New Zealand and that fans can attend the U2 concert” said the band manager Paul McGuinness. The Australian U2 tour will begin in December.
There are a couple of rumors circulating all over the internet that Jermaine Dupri is about to become a father. However, the hip hop producer and rapper has decided to come out and clear the rumors up. In a statement, Jermaine shot down all the reports by stating “Contrary to all the rumors I’m not expecting.” And there you have it. Mariah Carey is officially set to release a new Christmas album on November 2, which will include six new songs, covers of classics, and most exciting of all, a brand new mix of ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’. Yay. While I think this has got to be the cheesiest thing ever, it just might be what the singer needs to bring some sort of life to her music career. Mariah has been quite successful with her past Christmas efforts so why not try to recreate the magic? If this still doesn’t work, I say she should just quit already.
